With the final weeks of the spring split approaching, we have made the decision to reshuffle our starting North American League of Legends roster. To facilitate these lineup changes, we’ve traded several players with Team Dragon Knights of the NA Challenger Series.

Heading over to TDK will be starting mid laner Alexey “Alex Ich” Ichetovkin alongside top laners Cuong “Flaresz” Ta and Oleksii “RF Legendary” Kuziuta.

Coming over from TDK will be Shin “Seraph” Woo-yeong and Noh “Ninja” Geon-woo.

The driving force behind the trade is to benefit both organizations as we head into critical waters at both levels of competition. In just five LCS games this spring, Seraph has shown tremendous growth into a well-rounded North American top laner. We intend on making Seraph a key ingredient in our push to remain in the highest level of domestic competition.

On the flip-side, TDK’s playoffs began on March 8 against Ember and Ninja is ineligible to return until March 11. Their proposed conditions to part with Seraph were reliant on receiving Alex to fill their mid lane position for the NACS playoffs. With the NA LCS resuming on Saturday, March 12, Ninja will be eligible and not required to sit out any games for Renegades.

Ninja began his career with Prime Optimus in 2014 before moving onto Team WE for the end of Season 4 and the spring of Season 5. He then landed with TDK once they qualified for the 2015 NA LCS Summer Split. Visa issues derailed the team’s hopes however, burying TDK in the former auto relegation spot. After being ineligible to play most of the spring, we look forward to working with Ninja as we head towards the finale of the spring split and upcoming promotion tournament.

Seraph made his Renegades debut during Week 7, showcasing a remarkable 6/3/6 performance on Graves, which included a thrilling backdoor of the Nexus to earn our second win of the season.

Seraph’s NA career began when he arrived from South Korea as Counter Logic Gaming’s top laner during Season 4. Since then he’s been a member of TDK for three splits, including the 2015 NA LCS Summer Split. Between Team Impulse and Renegades, Seraph is a rocking a 3-2 record in the LCS this spring.

The pair will join the trio of Crumbz, Freeze and Hakuho in the starting lineup. The revamped Renegades lineup will be featured March 12-13 as we take on Cloud9 (9-5) and Team SoloMid (8-6).
